Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal made the day of a young fan during the ongoing second Test at Edgbaston as he gifted his bat to a young boy and made his day.
Jaiswal met the young fan who was very elated to meet his favourite cricketer. The two had a few words exchanged where the young boy named Ravi spoke his heart out to the Indian batter.
Ravi mentioned that Yashasvi Jaiswal is his favourite cricketer and he was eagerly looking forward to meet him and have his bat. Jaiswal was also kind enough to present his favourite bat to Ravi.

Moved by Ravi's passion for the game and his love for him, Jaiswal gifted the child a signed bat with the message, "With best wishes to Ravi with care and love."
"Hello Ravi, how are you? I am Yashasvi, nice to meet you. I was really excited to meet you because I know that you have been a big fan of cricket and actually I don't know why I am nervous to meet you," Jaiswal told Ravi in a video posted by BCCI in its social media accounts.
Having got the bat from Jaiswal, Ravi could not hide his emotions and he even said to Jaiswal that he is the future of Indian cricket.
"Lovely to meet you too. Thanks so much! I can't wait to have your bat because you are brilliant cricketer. I think you are the future of Indian cricket. I love cricket, I love watching you bat. I loved your centuries, they were brilliant. On your day you can score big centuries" Ravi replied saying.
Ravi also spoke to BCC on his meeting with Jaiswal saying how excited he was to receive the bat from him. He also added saying that he loved watching him play.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Has Scored 220 Runs So Far In The Series
Yashasvi Jaiswal has already scored over 220 runs in the series with a hundred in the first innings of the first Test. He scored 87 runs in the first innings of the second Test and played his part in India reaching a total of 587 runs with Shubman Gill scoring his career-best of 269 runs off 387 balls.
