Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially acquired the New Delhi franchise in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) ahead of its third season. The league will now welcome "Bhaijaan" as the newest owner of a Delhi-based side.

The ISPL, founded in 2024, is a groundbreaking T10 tennis‑ball cricket league that combines cricket with celebrity team owners like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Suriya, and Ram Charan.

In Season 2, Majhi Mumbai, owned by Amitabh Bachchan, defeated Akshay Kumar’s Srinagar Ke Veer in the final at Thane’s Dadoji Kondadev Stadium to claim the title.

ISPL Gears Up for a Blockbuster Third Season

The third season of ISPL is set to be the biggest one yet. With teams like Majhi Mumbai, Tiigers of Kolkata, Chennai Singams, Bangalore Strikers, Srinagar Ke Veer, Falcon Risers Hyderabad and now New Delhi, the competition will be star-studded. 

The second season was seen by over 28 million TV viewers, a massive jump from its debut year, marking a 47% surge in viewership.
