Jasprit Bumrah continues to make everyone go in awe of his match-winning prowess. After making the Australian fans and media go crazy, the 31-year-old has made the England media and fans sing praises of him in just the only innings he has bowled in the Leeds Test. It was a one-man show as the pacer managed to continuously trouble the English batters with pace, swing, and seam movement on a relatively flat pitch in Leeds.

On a pitch where each of the fast bowlers struggled, India's premier pacer was spitting venom and single-handedly denied the hosts from running away from the game. England media were absolutely stunned at seeing a Bumrah masterclass and could not stop calling him "the most complete fast bowler of all time."

Former England pacer Steve Finn, in his column for the BBC, could not stop raving about India's spearhead despite three catches being dropped off his bowling and Harry Brook running away from the game. The pacer still found a way and knocked the last two wickets to take his 14th five-wicket haul. This was also Jasprit Bumrah's 12th five-wicket haul away from home - the most by an Indian bowler alongside Kapil Dev.

Steve Finn decodes why Jasprit Bumrah is rated the best pacer of his generation

The cricket expert further analyzed Bumrah's bowling methods, from his run-up to his bowling arc and his famous hyper-extension, which has been a topic of discussion ever since his debut. Finn also statistically showed why the pacer is rated so highly across formats.

"He is like a computer constantly calibrating what is needed in any given situation, and he can implement almost exactly what he wants to with absolute precision. Consider this for versatility. Of pace bowlers from major nations to have sent down at least 500 deliveries in T20 internationals, Bumrah's economy rate of 6.27 is the best. At the same time, Bumrah has comfortably the best bowling average of any bowler in Test history with at least 200 wickets. At 19.33, Bumrah is miles ahead of West Indies legend Malcolm Marshall in second place at 20.94.

Taking it a stage further, the only bowlers with more than 100 wickets at a lower average than Bumrah all played before World War I," he wrote.

Of the 86 fast bowlers to have taken more than 200 Test wickets, Bumrah's average (19.33) is the best. The pacer also went past Wasim Akram's SENA record of most wickets, as Bumrah currently has (150) wickets.
